The machine that your patients will have access to is a Lunar Prodigy Advance, one of the most advanced bone densitometry technologies available. A machine costs in the region of £40,000.
It allows us to rapdily assess total body bone and tissue composition, vertebral assessments, advanced hip assessments, pediatric evaluations and biomechanical measurements. Most importantly it is the most accurate method available for the diagnosis of osteopenia and osteoporosis, with no complications or pain involved. Scans only take about 30 seconds and results are instantaneous.
In working with us you will have access to this machine or one similar to it for all your patients, free of charge and with a quick turnaround, scans can normally be organised within a week to ten days.
